5 Reasons You Should Take Your Kid To Slim & Husky’s

This past weekend I finally got the chance to try Slim & Husky’s in Atlanta. Slim & Husky’s is a hip hop inspired pizzeria based in Nashville. A couple of months ago, they opened one in Atlanta! I really enjoyed my visit and I think other kids would too. Here’s 5 reasons why you should take your kid to Slim & Husky’s!

1. Custom Pizzas

Trust me, your kid will love to make their own pizza! Pizzas are fully customizable or you can customize one of their signature pizzas. Their Signature Pizzas are all inspired by Hip Hop and R&B culture. You’ll find pizzas like the Cee No Green, California Love, and Rony, Roni, Rone on the menu.

I ordered the P.R.E.A.M, but asked for spinach basil pesto instead of the white sauce. I also added chicken sausage! It was sooo good. I like that you can watch them make the pizza too! They have 2 sizes to choose from, the slim (10″) and the husky (16″). I chose the husky because I like to eat, but also I wanted to take some home for later! 😄

2. Unique Soda Selection

If you have a good pizza, you definitely need something good to wash it down with. Slim + Husky’s has you covered with a delicious selection of Stubborn Soda. My favorites were the Agave Vanilla Cream Soda and the Black Cherry w/ Tarragon.

3. Cinnamon Buns

Dessert Time!! You will find the most delicious cinnamon rolls at Slim + Husky’s. I tried all of them, but my favorite was the Miss Berry, a cinnamon with blueberry sauce and fresh lemon glaze. So scrumptious! Every kid I know will definitely find something in the cinnamon roll menu that they will want.

4. Super Cool Hip Hop Theme

The whole restaurant was filled with hip-hop inspired art. Even the bathroom was full of cool art!

5. Fun Place To Eat with Family

I visited Slim + Husky’s with my mom, dad and aunt. We had a fun time laughing and eating over delicious pizza. We took a lot of pictures! We will definitely be back!
